Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and program changes are handled for services purchased from Wristsorganic.

Effective date:

1. Overview

Wristsorganic is committed to transparency in our billing and refund practices. This policy applies to all program enrolments, consulting sessions, educational products, and challenges purchased directly through our website, by email, by telephone, or in person at our Wellington office.

By enrolling in any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set out in this Refund Policy, which forms part of our Terms of Use.

2. Consumer Rights Under New Zealand Law

As a New Zealand-based business, we comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Under the CGA, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for a particular purpose made known to us, and be completed within a reasonable time when no time is specified.

If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund, depending on the severity of the failure. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the CGA where those rights apply to you as a consumer.

For business clients purchasing services for commercial purposes, the CGA guarantees may not apply, and the terms of this Refund Policy govern refund eligibility.

3. Cooling-Off Period

We offer a 7-day cooling-off period for new program enrolments. If you notify us in writing within 7 calendar days of your enrolment confirmation date that you wish to cancel, and you have not accessed more than one program module or attended a scheduled consultation, you are entitled to a full refund of fees paid.

To exercise your cooling-off right, send your cancellation request to hello@wristsorganic.world with the subject line "Cooling-Off Cancellation" and include your full name, enrolment date, and program name. We will confirm receipt within two business days and process eligible refunds within 14 business days.

4. Standard Refund Conditions by Service Type

4.1 Structured Programs (Starter, Core, Extended)

Refund eligibility for multi-week programs depends on the stage of participation:

  • Before program start date: Full refund minus a NZD $25 administrative fee, provided cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled start
  • Within the first 14 days of program start: Partial refund of 60% of the program fee if fewer than three modules have been accessed and no one-on-one consultations have occurred
  • After 14 days of program start: No refund available unless exceptional circumstances apply as described in Section 6
  • After completing more than 50% of program modules: No refund under any circumstances except where required by consumer law

4.2 21-Day Balance Challenge

The balance challenge is a self-contained educational product with the following refund terms:

  • Within 3 days of purchase: Full refund if fewer than 3 daily activities have been accessed
  • Days 4–7 after purchase: Partial refund of 40% if fewer than 7 daily activities have been accessed
  • After day 7: No refund available

4.3 Individual Consulting Sessions

For one-on-one consulting sessions, whether in person or via video:

  • Cancellation 48+ hours before scheduled session: Full refund or rescheduling at no charge
  • Cancellation 24–48 hours before session: 50% refund or one free rescheduling within 30 days
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before session: No refund. Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion with a NZD $30 rescheduling fee
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund

4.4 Written Feedback Plans

Asynchronous written feedback services are non-refundable once the facilitator has begun reviewing your submitted materials. If cancellation is requested before review has commenced, a full refund is available within 48 hours of purchase.

4.5 Digital Educational Products

Standalone digital products such as workbooks and audio guides that are delivered immediately upon purchase are generally non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, except where the product is materially defective or not as described.

5. Program Transfers and Credits

As an alternative to a refund, you may request a program transfer or credit under the following conditions:

  • Program transfer: Move to a different program tier or start date within 6 months of original enrolment. One transfer is permitted per enrolment. Price differences apply if upgrading to a higher-tier program
  • Credit voucher: Receive a credit equal to the eligible refund amount, valid for 12 months toward any Wristsorganic service
  • Pause enrolment: Suspend program participation for up to 8 weeks due to personal circumstances. Available once per enrolment at no charge. Extended pauses may incur a reactivation fee of NZD $50

Transfer and credit requests should be submitted to hello@wristsorganic.world with your enrolment details and preferred alternative.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that unforeseen events may affect your ability to participate in a program. Refund requests outside the standard terms may be considered on a case-by-case basis for the following circumstances, supported by appropriate documentation where applicable:

  • Serious illness or injury preventing participation for an extended period
  • Bereavement of an immediate family member
  • Relocation outside New Zealand making in-person components impossible
  • Significant service failure on our part, such as failure to deliver agreed program content

Exceptional circumstance requests are reviewed by our management team within 10 business days. Approved requests may result in a full or partial refund, program credit, or extended pause, depending on the situation and stage of program completion.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are expressly non-refundable except where required by law:

  • Administrative fees explicitly stated at the time of purchase
  • Third-party materials or resources included in program packages but sourced from external providers
  • Services fully delivered, including completed consulting sessions and submitted written feedback
  • Program fees where the participant has been removed for violating our Terms of Use
  • Deposits for custom or bespoke program packages, unless cancellation occurs before work has commenced

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to hello@wristsorganic.world with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your full name, email address used for enrolment, program or service name, purchase date, and payment reference number if available
  3. State the reason for your refund request
  4. Attach any supporting documentation for exceptional circumstance claims

We will acknowledge your request within two business days and provide a decision within 10 business days. If additional information is needed, we will contact you promptly.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Payment method: Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for purchase
  • Processing time: Refunds are initiated within 14 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add 3–10 additional business days depending on your financial institution
  • Currency: All refunds are issued in New Zealand dollars (NZD)
  • Partial refunds: The refunded amount will be clearly stated in our confirmation email along with any non-refundable portions and the reason
  • Credit vouchers: Issued by email with a unique voucher code and 12-month validity period

If the original payment method is no longer available (e.g., expired card), we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method, such as direct bank transfer within New Zealand.

10. Disputes and Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision, you may request a review by emailing hello@wristsorganic.world with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. A senior team member will review your case and respond within 10 business days with a final decision.

If you believe your consumer rights under New Zealand law have not been respected, you may contact:

  • Consumer Protection (Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment): www.consumerprotection.govt.nz
  • Disputes Tribunal: For claims up to NZD $30,000 if informal resolution is unsuccessful

European Union residents may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform for cross-border disputes.

11. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter with us may result in suspension of your access to programs and services pending investigation. We will provide relevant documentation to payment providers to contest illegitimate chargebacks.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated effective date shown at the top of this page. Enrolments made before a policy change remain subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase, unless the change is more favourable to you.
